Join to apply for the Galileo System Security Engineer 1 role at RINA RINA is currently recruiting for a Galileo System Security Engineer 1 to join its office in ROME, MILAN OR GENOA within the Electronics and System Engineering Division. The resource will be hired in Italy and will carry out a mission abroad (Netherlands) of at least 1 year. Overview The role focuses on ensuring compliance with design requirements and documentation at system, segment and element level. It involves managing activities, preparing deliverables, supporting engineering teams, and reporting progress to stakeholders while adhering to quality standards and schedules. Responsibilities Maintaining the general security requirements and the requirements of relevant Galileo System functions at System and Segment level as well as the associated documentation baseline; Maintaining the relevant Galileo System functions within the applicable documentation, participating in segment and element design reviews to ensure proper design and implementation of requirements in line with system expectations; Contribute to the Service/System/Projects Reviews and Boards as appropriate; Technical management of own projects, tasks execution in compliance with the expected delivery, milestones, and project schedule. Provide direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications, submitting documentation to officials and other day-to-day duties; Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision the discipline Technical Leader; Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering baseline, etc.) Prepare progress reports and present them to clients and applicable stakeholders. Be aware and understand the Quality Policy and RINA QMS.
