Offer Description The project focuses on the
synthesis and characterization of novel supramolecular catalysts for electrosynthesis, with particular
emphasis on controlling the selectivity of electrochemical processes. The research will involve the design
and synthesis of new functional molecules, followed by structural and physicochemical characterization
and the assessment of their electrocatalytic and supramolecular recognition properties. In particular,
systems combining electron-transfer mediation with selective interactions towards substrates or reaction
intermediates will be investigated to direct the course of electrochemical transformations. The stability of
the catalysts under operating conditions and the relationships between molecular structure, catalytic
activity and selectivity will also be examined. The ultimate goal is to develop novel integrated catalytic
systems capable of promoting efficient and selective electrosynthetic processes;
