About The Role

  • The Group International Tax Expert will join the Group Tax Department and play a key role in supporting global tax planning activities and international tax matters, including corporate restructurings and M&A transactions.

Mission & Objectives

  • Campari Group is committed to maintaining and continuously enhancing tax compliance across its global operations, ensuring alignment with both the Group Transfer Pricing Policy and the evolving international taxation framework, including the OECD BEPS Actions.
  • In this role, you will contribute to strengthening the Group’s tax governance, supporting strategic business initiatives, and ensuring robust compliance with international tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to and working closely with the Group Sr. Tax Director, you will:
  • Support global tax projects, including Group restructurings, M&A transactions, cross-border initiatives, and other projects requiring international tax expertise and project management skills.
  • Provide technical support on international tax matters, including permanent establishment issues, withholding taxes, financing structures, and intercompany transactions.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of global tax governance frameworks and tax strategies.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate international tax risks arising from the Group’s operations and strategic projects.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders involved in international initiatives.
  • Support the drafting and review of intercompany agreements and collaborate closely with the Transfer Pricing team to ensure consistency and alignment of tax positions.
  • Proactively contribute to the implementation of the Group Tax Guidelines, helping to enhance overall tax compliance across the organisation.

Experience

  • 3 to 6 years of corporate tax experience gained either within a multinational corporation or a legal/tax consulting firm serving multinational companies.
  • Experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Fashion & Luxury sectors is considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law, Economics, or Business Administration, with a specialisation or dissertation focused on International Taxation.
