Overview
In this role you deliver end-to-end technical support for EFI digital printing solutions, both locally and abroad. You provide on-site and remote assistance, participate in tradeshow activities, and train end users. You will travel extensively to service large territories and feed actionable feedback to R&D. You will work closely with customers to ensure optimal printer performance and demonstrate EFI's technology as a differentiator.
Responsabilità
- Provide end-to-end technical support locally and abroad
- On-site technical support
- Technical phone support
- Tradeshow support including printer setup, calibration, demonstration, and teardown
- End-user training
- Provide feedback to R&D
Requisiti fondamentali
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in digital and electronic technology for industrial printers
- Two+ years of field engineering experience on digital machines and electronic devices
- Availability for extensive travel at short notice
- Knowledge of inkjet printing technology in water-based ink
- Knowledge of RIP software and color management
- Knowledge of color theory and materials/chemicals
- Knowledge of textile digital machine processes
- Good communication skills and customer-focused
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Self-motivating with ability to manage a large service territory
- Knowledge of personal computers, Windows and Linux
