As a Financial Controller You Will Oversee all local accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and payroll. Ensure complete alignment with Italian tax laws, statutory reporting requirements, and local business regulations. Establish and enforce rigorous financial workflows to safeguard assets, maintain audit-ready transparency, and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners in Italy. Collaborate closely with Hotel General Managers and the corporate office to evaluate financial performance and drive commercial growth initiatives. Minimum of 5+ years in financial control, senior auditing, or corporate finance roles, explicitly within luxury 5-star hospitality, tourism, or premium real estate. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics; professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA) is a strong plus Deep, working knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC), Italian tax legislation, labor compliance laws, and USALI hotel accounting standards. High proficiency with hospitality in ERP networks (e.g., Opera, Opera Cloud, SAP, Entersoft) and advanced financial modeling in Microsoft Excel.
