Ingenn is the Head Hunting company solely focused on the search and selection of technical profiles and engineers. The partner: We are looking for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to be hired on a permanent contract with one of our clients, an innovative Start-Up in the chemical-engineering sector. Our client specializes in renewable energy and, in particular, in the research, development and prototyping of new green batteries and long-duration energy storage systems. The role: - Design hydraulic system architecture: pump sizing/selection, manifolds, flow distribution, pressure management, filtration, venting/degassing concepts. - Develop piping layouts and define standards for routing, supports, accessibility, and service ability within a container. - Define instrumentation strategy: pressure/flow/temperature sensing, control valves, safety relief devices, and interlocks. - Build hydraulic loss models (Δp), NPSH/cavitation risk checks, transient behavior considerations. - Run and interpret CFD and/or hydraulic network simulations to optimize flow uniformity and efficiency. - Write component specifications and acceptance criteria; support supplier technical alignment. - Support commissioning and troubleshooting on pilot systems and containers. - Draft procedures, reports and technical documentation in general. Mandatory skills: - Experiencein engineering development of pressurized liquid systems (PhD years can be counted as experience if relevant). - Strong capability in hydraulic design, piping engineering, and system integration. - Experience translating requirements into component sizing and technical specifications. - Ability to work hands-on with prototypes and field troubleshooting Location: Rho (MI)#J-18808-Ljbffr
