About this role Revolutionizing the storytelling experience is just part of an Audible UX Designer's daily to-do list. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or Associate's degree or above 10+ years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role Portfolio that demonstrates delivering end-to-end experiences for digital services across multiple platforms and devices Experience in a range of design approaches, methods, and tools that you use to plan, concept, and prototype complex projects Preferred Qualifications A master's degree in Design, Information Science, Computer Science / HCI, or a design-related discipline such as cognitive psychology Experience leveraging AI tools in the product design processExperience designing for AI-enabled features Experience mentoring and elevating senior-level design talent Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards Able to take ambiguous design problems and work with stakeholders and user research insights to craft design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output in all deliverables Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels of the organization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,600 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
