Overview In this role you will support the regional commercial organization in the EMEA region, aligning regional needs with central product strategy. You will act as the product expert in the field, shaping competitive responses and informing market intelligence to drive regional performance. Expect close collaboration with sales, marketing, and distributor partners to ensure successful launches and demand generation. This is an opportunity to influence product strategy while working across diverse markets and customers in a global leader in analytical instrumentation.
Provide real-time product expertise to regional sales, support demonstrations, and participate in key account meetings to create competitive advantage
Lead regional competitive response with timely guidance on pricing, claims, and instrument introductions
Support regional sales with product mix analysis, forecasting inputs, and portfolio utilization data
Participate in distributor management by delivering product training and competitive tools
Lead regional execution of global product launches and adapt plans to regional conditions
Coordinate with Regional Marketing to align campaigns and demand generation with regional priorities
Manage regional beta programmes with the NPI PM and ensure feedback is captured
Deliver regional sales training for launches to enable rapid positioning and closing against competitors
Serve as regional intelligence source to central product management, reporting competitive activity and market trends
Engage in customer conversations focused on market intelligence, pricing sensitivity, and regulatory trends
Provide regional input on product requirements, pricing feedback, and application priorities for roadmaps
8–12 years of experience in product management, technical sales, applications science, or commercial marketing within analytical instrumentation or scientific equipment
~ Broad knowledge of at least one product line technology (atomic spectroscopy, chromatography, materials characterisation) and its regional applications
~ Proven ability to operate as a field-based specialist managing multiple priorities with limited supervision
~ Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of engaging with regional sales teams, distributors, and customers
~ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physics, or related scientific discipline
