Key Job Responsibilities
Implement and track team goals, reporting the status of ongoing projects upwards.
Develop launch plans for new hires, identify team needs, and serve as an experienced interviewer.
Installation, programming, and troubleshooting of BMS/EPMS systems and/or industrial controls systems.
Strong writing skills, articulate thoughts clearly and concisely.
Understand electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, industrial HVAC.
Ascertain customer needs to help develop project scope and specifications.
Manage scope of work relative to site specifics and customer needs.
Manage project engineering to determine scope relative to design intent.
Read and interpret specifications, implementing them in the work environment.
Provide technical assistance as needed to internal customers.
Coordinate project work internally and with external departments to ensure on-time completion within budget.

Basic Qualifications
~2+ years of people management and team development experience.
~ B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other related engineering, plus 5+ years of industrial controls system experience, or 10+ relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
~2+ years hiring, promoting, disciplining, and developing controls professionals.
~5+ years working in high‑availability environments such as Data Centers, Hospitals, Oil & Gas, Energy, Water, or Manufacturing Industries.

Preferred Qualifications
~5+ years of work in data centers with emphasis on building and equipment operation experience.
~ Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams, preferably in Controls, Mechanical or electrical construction environments.
~ Experience as a Controls Engineering Specialist.
~4 years managing a highly skilled team.
~ Project management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with a drive for results and ability to handle multiple tasks.
~ B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or other related engineering degrees.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is 132,600.00 – 198,100.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
