Mechanical Completion Coordinator Location: Ravenna Main responsibilities Mechanical systems (Machinery, Vessels, Tanks, Mixers, Heat Exchangers, Fired heaters, etc., Saddles and Supports) and relevant piping systems (Piping, Valves/Actuators, Supports). Mechanical connections (Flanged, Clamped, Threaded); selection of the best alternative technical/economic solutions for materials and installation. Temporary and commissioning connections/blinding. Painting and corrosion protection/insulation. Cathodic protection. Scaffolding. Key activities Mechanical systems (Machinery, Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Piping, Valves, etc.) and piping systems installation supervision in compliance with international standards, company specifications and construction best practices. All process from document selection and adoption, installation and as‐built. Mechanical completion: effectiveness, efficiency and safety of systems installation activities execution. Traceability of all connection execution. X‐rays of all welding. Quality and technical integrity of systems/material selection, choosing best alternative technical/economic solutions. Mechanical systems design documents selection, application to construction and support to as‐builts. Support to pre‐commissioning and commissioning, including selection and dimensioning of sub‐systems and relevant temporary and final mechanical completion. All painting cycles application/restore in case of damage, corrosion protection application/insulation installation and removal/re‐installation for commissioning. Cathodic protection installation. Scaffolding design, installation and removal. Support to inspections according to Inspection Data Sheets instructions. Minimum and mandatory requirements Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. Eight (8) years of work experience after earning the university degree. Capacity to manage workforce and interact with construction contractors representatives. Excellent spoken and written English, including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
