Although the role is based at our Italian office, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring accurate product classification and compliance with international trade regulations, supporting our prestigious Customers to access global markets.
As a ULS GMA Knowledge Associate specializing in Customs Regulations and HS Code Classification, you will complete comprehensive research and analysis of Harmonized System (HS) codes and global customs requirements under general supervision and mentorship. Provide classification guidance, global regulatory updates, research monitoring, and document management within regulatory databases. Under general supervision and guidance, act as point of contact with customs authorities and ULS partners to obtain and maintain necessary knowledge and regulatory requirements to support research and delivery projects. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive and research reports based on the required regulatory information.
Cooperate with industries and colleagues to support development GMA knowledge services and customized solutions.
May supervise the day‐to‐day delivery of high‐quality knowledge services under supervision and guidance.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
HS Code classification principles
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, International Relations, or other specialization based on the specific coverage, preferred.
Strong knowledge of HS Code classification and customs regulations globally.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in English (mandatory).
Additional languages are considered a plus.
