As a Local Product & Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our global vision to life locally, serving as the essential strategic bridge between our central Headquarters and the local market.
Your Responsibilities
Local Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
- Analyze the global product portfolio defined by HQ and select the most suitable range of products (collections, variants, and accessories) for the local market.
- Coordinate the local launch of new products and plan the strategic phase-out of legacy collections in strict alignment with global HQ guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with central teams and local authorities to ensure that all distributed products fully comply with local technical certifications and mandatory country regulations.
Pricing & Market Positioning
- Define and optimize the local price list starting from global pricing guidelines, balancing internal margin targets with local market competitiveness.
- Continuously monitor local competitors to identify market threats and business opportunities, providing structured, actionable feedback to HQ.
New Product Launches & Trade Activation
- Commercial & Marketing Materials: Ensure the accurate localization (translation, local technical compliance, and commercial adaptation) of catalogs, technical sheets, price lists, and communication materials for B2B professionals (Profi-Portal) and end consumers.
- Product Training: Support the local training team in gathering detailed technical features and unique selling propositions (USPs) to deliver highly effective training sessions to the local sales force, distributors, and key retail partners.
Headquarters-to-Country Bridge (HQ-Local Alignment)
- Strategic Alignment (Top-Down): Participate in regular alignment meetings with the central HQ team, ensuring that global brand identity and design standards are strictly maintained and executed at the local level.
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, alongside solid experience in product management, portfolio strategy, or trade marketing (ideally within the sanitary, building materials, or premium consumer goods industry).
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to interpret market data, conduct competitor benchmarking, and optimize pricing structures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a collaborative interface between global HQ and local sales teams.
- High degree of self-organization, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple localization projects under tight deadlines.
