Job Position

We are looking for an SMT Technician / Process Engineer for our growing international company in the automotive sector Take advantage of the opportunity to be part of its launch. The job posting is open to candidates in both Italy and Slovakia to broaden our search and maximize opportunities. However, the primary focus of this role will be supporting activities at our Trnava Plant . Therefore, if the selected candidate is based in Italy, frequent travel to Trnava will be required to ensure effective support and alignment with the Plant's operations.

The responsibility will be to reduce downtime on production lines, improve efficiency, and minimize defects to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, the SMT Technician will be responsible for departmental equipment maintenance and management, mid-level process problem solving, and constant monitoring of production processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of Pick & Place (P&P), reflow oven, and selective soldering processes.
  • Management and calibration of AOI, SPI, and xRay systems.
  • Inspection of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
  • Analysis of inspection results.
  • Programming and optimizing AOI, SPI, xRay systems according to requirements.
  • Troubleshooting intervention on the lines and eliminating defects.
  • Collaboration with the quality department and technicians.
  • Regular maintenance and calibration of all machines and equipment.
  • Installation of new equipment.
  • Equipment spare parts organization.
  • Production process optimization.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SMT / THT production and electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of AOI, SPI, xRay programs.
  • Technical mindset.
  • Responsibility and reliability.
  • Electrical certification §21.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Good manual skills.
  • Accuracy.
  • Ability to relate to people and predisposition to work in work groups.
