Senior Cloud Engineer – Open Stack
with proven experience in designing & implementing complex cloud infrastructures based on Open Stack & in managing automation through Terraform & Ansible Kolla. The role involves working within structured project environments, covering all operational phases: detailed design, implementation, standardization, documentation & handover/testing with operational teams. Field: provider of complex proprietary cloud platforms
Key Responsibilities Develop detailed designs for cloud solutions aligned with engineering architecture guidelines
Implement cloud infrastructures based on Open Stack & develop automation using Ansible Kolla & Terraform
Standardize configurations, procedures & operational processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud platforms
5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
Background as a Systems Engineer, with strong expertise in Linux systems & distributed infrastructures
Experience with private cloud or proprietary CSP environments
Location: completely full remote – Italy-based
Freelancers are highly welcomed too
