Job Title: Business Development Consultant - Leather Goods & Hardware (Europe-based, Part-time/Remote)

We are seeking an accomplished business development consultant with proven expertise in the luxury leather goods sector to drive our strategic expansion across European markets. This role focuses on developing new business partnerships and expanding our client portfolio with emerging and established luxury brands. The ideal candidate will bring both industry credibility and an entrepreneurial approach to market development.
Business Development & Market Expansion
Design and implement a comprehensive market entry and growth strategy targeting luxury leather goods brands across key European markets
Identify, qualify, and secure new client partnerships through proactive outreach, industry networking, and strategic relationship building
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation
Conduct detailed market analysis to identify emerging brands, market trends, and competitive positioning opportunities
Strategic Partnership Development
Establish Yibi Group as the manufacturing partner of choice for luxury brands seeking innovative leather goods hardware solutions
Build and nurture C-level relationships with key decision-makers in the luxury leather goods industry
Represent Yibi Group at major industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
Develop tailored partnership proposals that address specific client needs and business objectives
Serve as the primary business contact for both prospective and existing clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery
Provide strategic advice on product development, material selection, and manufacturing processes based on deep industry knowledge
Act as a cultural liaison, bridging business practices between European clients and our manufacturing operations
Proven Business Development Track Record : 10+ years in business development, strategic sales, or partnership management within the luxury leather goods sector, with demonstrated success in new client acquisition Industry Credentials : Mandatory experience with at least one of these leading luxury maisons: Documented history of exceeding business development targets and successfully expanding market presence Industry Network : Established, high-level connections within the European luxury leather goods industry that can generate immediate business opportunities Technical Understanding : Strong knowledge of leather goods construction, hardware components, and manufacturing processes Language Requirements : Full professional proficiency in English and either Italian or French
Exceptional business acumen with strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior executives
Cultural intelligence with deep understanding of European luxury business practices
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
Existing relationships with emerging luxury brands in addition to established houses
Pay range and compensation package
