Socomec, for its Isola Vicentina (VI) site, is looking for an Health, Safety & Environment Specialist – ASPP to join the HSE department and strengthen the team. Working alongside the RSPP and HSE Manager, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of company policies on health, safety, and the environment, supporting regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and HSE performance improvement processes in an environment focused on innovation and sustainability. The Health, Safety & Environment Specialist will be responsible for the following activities: contribute to the management of the risk assessment process and to the identification of prevention and protection measures; analyse accidents, near misses, and hazardous situations, preparing the related analyses and working with the RSPP to define and monitor corrective and preventive actions; draft and update procedures, operating instructions, and company standards relating to health, safety, and the environment; support employee information, training, and awareness-raising activities on HSE topics; verify the compliance of machinery, equipment, and systems with legislative and company safety requirements; contribute to the management of suppliers and contractors, verifying their compliance with company HSE requirements; contribute to operational management and support the monitoring of significant environmental aspects and the authorisation requirements applicable to the production site; participate in internal audits, supporting the implementation of improvement actions; contribute to monitoring regulatory updates on health, safety, and environmental matters, assessing their applicability to the organisation; participate in the implementation of projects aimed at promoting a culture of health and safety at work and improving environmental performance; support the collection and analysis of environmental data, contributing to the Group’s sustainability projects and objectives. Required qualifications and

skills:
Degree in Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplace, Safety Engineering, or similar fields; at least 3 years of professional experience in the HSE field; excellent knowledge of Italian; good knowledge of English; good organisational skills and a problem-solving mindset; good interpersonal skills; good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package; flexibility and proactivity complete the profile; availability to travel to other Group sites. The starting gross annual salary for this role is from € 33.000 with the possibility of defining the overall compensation package based on skills, professional experience, and the degree of alignment with the position requirements. The contractual classification will be defined in line with the role and the relevant provisions of the National Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (CCNL Industria Metalmeccanica). The entire selection process, including evaluations related to the definition of the compensation package and contractual classification, will be conducted based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, ensuring transparency, fairness, and equal opportunities.
