Overview IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a PhD candidate to join the Biomolecular Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Unit. Main responsibilities Protein expression and purification for structural studies Structural and biophysical studies of protein complexes The candidate will work on the functional/structural characterization of HMGB1-CXCL12 interaction with the GPCR receptor CXCR4 (project founded by AIRC) The candidate we are looking for has the following skills Motivated researcher with B.S.-MA in biological sciences, biotechnology, chemistry or physics Junior fellows interested in a Ph.D Experience in molecular biology and/or biochemistry, protein expression and purification is essential Experience in biophysical and structural biology methods (e.g. ITC, NMR, BLI, SPR, X-ray, cryo-EM) and/or cell biology is considered a plus Good organizational skills, ability to focus on multiple priorities are required What we offer Type of contract: fellowship Duration: 3 years Place of work: IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, Via Olgettina, number 60 - Milan (Italy) At San Raffaele Scientific Institute, a world-renowned center of excellence for clinical and scientific activities, we believe that considering diversity and promoting an open and inclusive environment is crucial to our success.
