Alkeria is seeking a motivated, talented Hardware Designer interested in working on image processing applications and joining a fast-growing company at our Pisa (Italy) headquarters.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Analog and digital circuit design
  • VHDL design of hi-speed/hi-bandwidth modules
  • Tight cooperation with firmware and software teams

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven knowledge of schematics/PCB design tools
  • Use of common lab instrumentation (multimeter, scopes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of common communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, ...)

Appreciated Skills

  • Knowledge of methods for timing analysis in digital circuits
  • Knowledge of high-speed data interfaces (LVDS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of C++/C#/Python programming languages

  • Standard and custom cameras for Machine Vision applications
  • High-performance equipment for in-line manufacturing defect detection
