'With the rapid and exciting digitalisation of the healthcare industry, we are looking for a talented Junior Medical Copywriter/Medical Writer to work with one of our leading pharmaceutical clients in Italy. You will use your writing skills to develop commercial and medical content for key brands, primarily for digital channels, in line with regulatory compliance guidelines and supported by scientific literature references. You will be part of a team of graphic designers, digital content managers and copywriters, working closely with brand and production teams to bring accurate, engaging content to life. You will be fully embedded within the client team, working solely on their projects. This means you'll collaborate closely with their teams, gain deep exposure to a global brand, and operate as an integrated part of their day-to-day organisation. Develop and update content for a range of commercial assets, with a focus on omnichannel implementation across digital channels (including banner ads, emails, sales rep materials and websites), as well as printed materials (including posters, slide kits, leaflets and conference materials). Develop scientific materials summarising the key topics and data presented at medical congresses and conferences, and following updates to scientific guidelines. Review digital modules and assets assembled by the local team for medical accuracy, including referencing and language. Partner with the graphic design team on copy and content needs, including briefing the design of figures, tables and data representation. Work with the brand and production teams on briefs, workshops and project deliveries. Follow departmental best practice on processes, internal and external communication, documentation and technical requirements such as language, grammar, style, content search, summarising, data conflicts and referencing. Ensure compliance with Italian legislation and regulations, as well as client internal policies, so that all content and activities are supported by authentic, up-to-date references. Native Italian speaker with the right to work in Italy. 2 or more years' experience in copywriting within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Graduate, postgraduate or master's degree in life or health sciences, with relevant experience. Proficiency in written and spoken English to work with global teams. A strong flair and passion for writing. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience working within a large multinational company in a matrix environment. Detail-oriented, well organised and deadline-driven, with the ability to multitask. A demonstrable ability to use AI tools responsibly and effectively to enhance productivity, decision-making and business outcomes.
