Captain / Engineer- 30m Expedition MY (New Build) -Europe-World CruisingAre you a captain / engineer looking to join a world cruising expedition vessel?Do you have a sound engineering background?Position SnapshotCouple FriendlyPrivate cruising (usually 2 guests)Start: February 2026, Build Phase, Launching May 202610,000€ / month + 13thmonth (non-rotation role)A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced captain / engineer to join a private expedition MY in the tail end of the build.The captain / engineer will work with the owner and the technical build manager in the final touches prior to launch, sea trials, paperwork and vessel setup.Handover to the owner is scheduled for July with the plan to start cruising immediately for the remainder of the Mediterranean season.The vessel will be used for private trips only, with low guest numbers, with an extensive cruising schedule planned.Itinerary includes Europe, US, Caribbean, South Pacific Islands, Australia circumnavigation & MicronesiaBeing a new build the vessel is open to a captain/engineer with a + 1 (stewardess , stew/cook, deck) or something similar.Vessel crew size will be 4-5The Ideal CandidateCouple or SingleMaster 200gt minimum, preference to 500gt or greater.Experience with new builds (advantageous)Experience with FlagHighly personable / good communicatorExcellent engineering knowledgeCan commit to a travelling program (no initial rotation)Experience in some of the cruising groundsLooking for a strong owner relationship/partnership (long-term)Experience with implementing various vessel management softwareStart: February 2026Salary: 10,000€ / month + 13thmonth (non-rotation role)#J-18808-Ljbffr
