We are X-ELIO, a Brookfield-owned company and a global leader in the renewable energy sector; with over 3 GW of renewable projects (solar/BESS) built, we currently operate in 12 countries and have a development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity, and we are looking for you Reporting to: Engineering & Construction Manager Italy Senior Technical Project Manager Manager The selected professional will be responsible for leading and overseeing all engineering activities related to utility-scale photovoltaic and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Italy, covering the full project lifecycle: development, design, construction, and commissioning. Lead engineering for PV and BESS projects from early-stage to development, permitting, construction, and commissioning Act as technical reference for grid connection, layout optimization, yield assessments, and technology selection Support permitting, due diligence, and M&A processes supporting commissioning and performance validation Ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and bankability requirements Drive CAPEX optimization and support investment decisions with technical-economic analysis Collaborate with finance, procurement, and commercial teams Lead BESS-specific engineering: sizing, integration, safety compliance, and grid code requirements Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams Prepare technical reports for management and investors Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience as Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Lead in utility-scale PV and/or BESS projects. Proven experience in project development, design review, CAPEX analysis, and construction-phase engineering management. Strong knowledge of PV and BESS technologies, grid integration, and EPC project execution. Experience working with co-developers, EPC contractors, and international project teams. Proficiency in English and Italian. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point). Career development in a leading international environment.
