HZI acts as a project developer, technology supplier, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological waste recovery. Its solutions are based on efficient and environmentally sound technologies, are thoroughly tested, and can be flexibly adapted to customer requirements. HZI works for customers ranging from established waste management companies to emerging partners in new markets. Its innovative and reliable solutions have been part of more than 1,600 reference projects worldwide. Be a member of the unit management team and act as a deputy in related areas.
Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to staff, including training and resource optimization.
Support project execution actively.
Ensure timely availability of deliverables for all execution projects.
Ensure the quality of engineering deliverables in the specific discipline.
Plan resource allocation for employees in the group.
Develop individual employee development plans and career paths.
Assume responsibility for the quality of work within the group.
An engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a technical diploma.

Minimum 4 years of extensive experience as a Mechanical Discipline Group Leader.
Possess extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning.
Proven track record of executing projects, with a strong focus on plant engineering.
Skilled in motivating and leading employees within their responsibility area.
Experience in using project management tools.
