THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a hands‐on, hard‐working, detail‐oriented Blasting & Coating technician to join our team in building the Best Shooting Handguns in the World. This is a key role reporting to the Coating Department Supervisor; the successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and an extraordinarily high personal standard for quality.
JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES Abrasive blast fixtures and shields to prep for coating.
Abrasive blast parts to a uniform finish for coating
Perform maintenance on the wash line and wash line area.
Assist in loading parts on fixtures and loading fixtures into the coating machine.
Operation of the coating machine.
Perform maintenance on the coating machine.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Ensures that work areas are cleaned daily and that all work is accomplished well within all safety parameters.
Once proficiency has been reached on a specific operation, be capable and willing to train others.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds to blast and store fixtures used in our coating process.
