The Application Engineer is responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating complex tests, providing technical 2nd level support, supporting the sales department, and serving as a central interface between our customers and internal departments. International travel is required. Independent planning, execution, documentation and analysis of individual tests to validate new products. Investigation of complex issues, including the necessary troubleshooting. Drive company-wide product standardization in close alignment with the global AE organization. Prepare and conduct customer demonstrations and machine acceptances. Support the service colleagues and customers with difficult and urgent machine problems. Create and update documentation for Satisloh technicians and customers. Ensure regular communication with key accounts and represent customer interests within our company. Be the voice of the customer Contribute your field experience to development projects. Technical Diploma or Engineering degree with relevant experience Strong analytical and communication skills in Italian and English. Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented attitude. Highly valued: knowledge of ophthalmic lens production processes (hard coating, anti-reflection, sun coating).
