Security Architect – Fastweb Vodafone We are looking for a Security Architect to join our Security by Design team. Your role will focus on ensuring that the company's products and services, both IT and technology, are designed with the highest security standards, in compliance with internal policies and industry frameworks. Responsibilities Integrate security into all technology solutions, cloud and applications, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards and industry frameworks. Assess risks and vulnerabilities and propose effective mitigation strategies. Provide specialized technical expertise to guide the implementation of security controls. Verify that products and services remain compliant with security standards after go‐live (E2E Assurance). Continuously update the Secure by Design framework by incorporating new technical and regulatory requirements (GP, PSNC, NIS2, etc.). Support the team in defining, measuring, and reporting KPIs and KRIs for Secure by Design. Assist in creating tender documents, providing appropriate security requirements. Support automation of security processes and the adoption of new technologies. Collaborate with internal security teams and cross‐functional teams to assess system security status and promote shared best practices. Requirements – Essential Degree in a STEM discipline, preferably Cybersecurity. Solid technical experience in developing and defining Network Security architectures, as well as IT and Cloud Security architectures. In‐depth knowledge of major security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, 3GPP, NIST, and ENISA. Knowledge of primary security controls and technologies for protecting networks and applications. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google), API security, and CASB. Understanding of Telco networks (2G/4G/5G, circuit switched, packet switched, IMS, backhauling, interconnection solutions, and mobile/fixed services). Knowledge of network segmentation solutions. Experience with VMWare ESX, NFV, NSX, and container‐based solutions. Knowledge of perimeter security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access controls, and DDoS protection. Excellent communication skills to deliver concise, rapid summaries of complex scenarios. Strong experience in critical analysis of architectural designs to ensure compliance with security requirements and industry standards. Proven ability to manage stakeholders (internal and external, including senior levels). English language proficiency (spoken and written), minimum CEFR B1. Strong problem‐solving skills. Teamwork orientation and willingness to share knowledge and experience. Requirements – Preferable Obtained industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP. Certified knowledge in AI Security.
