No /ph3Offer Description /h3pThe research activity is to develop metallic porous surfaces infused with lubricating liquids (Slippery Liquid-Infused Porous Surfaces, SLIPS) using Cold Spray technology. The project will explore innovative strategies for producing porous deposits by optimizing process parameters and employing pore-forming agents and erosive particles. The resulting deposits will then be functionalized and infused with lubricants to create SLIPS. The research will include the microstructural and mechanical characterization of the materials, as well as the evaluation of their performance under different environmental conditions.br/The successful candidate will also contribute to teaching activities by presenting the project’s concepts, methodologies, and results to undergraduate and master’s students through lectures, seminars, and laboratory activities.
