North Point Defense (NPD) is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer to join its team in Rome, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize ML models to support AI/ML projects.
  • Design and implement automated ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MLOps, AI/ML, data engineering, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of MLOps frameworks, tools, and technologies such as ONNX, TensorRT, TensorFlowLite.
  • Familiarity with ML models and algorithms and research frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python.
  • Knowledge of container runtime environments such as Docker.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Current TS/SCI a strong plus.

This position will be required to be on-site with some regularity. Casual team-oriented work environment. Flexible work schedule. Competitive salary, with special considerations for cleared individuals. Pay for every hour you are authorized to work.
