We are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to join our R&D team and contribute to design, develop and test firmware and libraries for microcontrollers/microprocessors used in Arduino or other embedded platforms (e.g. Yocto Linux, etc.). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
~ Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
~ PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
~2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Design, develop, code, test and debug embedded software (C++, C)
Most of the code will be open‑source; we require high quality when coding and documenting
Maintain and improve the code
Spread the Arduino verb at conferences and with the developer community
Collaborate with hardware design team – review code
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
At least 5 years experience in firmware and libraries development (C, C++)
Familiarity with Linux kernel or userspace programming
Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, TCP, UDP, AMQP) and GitHub
Fluent in English, both verbal and written – mandatory
Experience with Golang and/or Python
