Our people are proud to be part of the journey of leading our industry towards a more sustainable future for our customers and markets...It's in our nature JOB DESCRIPTION: Allocated to our Finance dept, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team member in the function of Senior Accountant – Italy In this role you will direct and control the financial accounting activities in order to ensure financial statements are reported on time and in compliance with IFRS, Italian law and tax regulations. You will prepare yearly statutory annual accounts and align with external auditor, including legal requirements. Leadership of accounting activities. This is a permanent and full-time position to be based in Vizzola Ticino (VA) – Italy Major Tasks / Activities: Preparation and execution of the monthly reporting activities Analyze, reconcile and control GL accounts and cost centers, including payroll accounting Preparation of company & internal control activities - to assist to ensure an adequate system of internal controls is implemented and maintained for key accounting processes Coordination of VAT declaration & other indirect tax; support tax with the related corporate income tax calculation and quarterly tax reporting Project-based work No direct reports Your profile: We are looking for You who has: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field Knowledge of Italian tax, CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Minimum of 5/10 years' experience in similar position A high level of understanding in Italian GAAP, including EU, and direct and indirect tax law A good understanding of IFRS standards Good communication skills in English, verbally and writing Excellent analytical skills and pro-active attitude Good knowledge of SAP (consolidation tool) Your application If your background and personal experience fits this profile, please send us your complete application via LinkedIn portal.
