You will work in a fast moving environment to solve business problems as a member of either a cross‑functional team embedded within a business unit or a central science and economics organization. You will be expected to develop techniques that apply econometrics to large data sets, address quantitative problems, and contribute to the design of automated systems around the company.
PhD in economics or equivalent

5+ years of relevant, broad research science experience after PhD degree or equivalent.
~ Deep knowledge of econometric analysis of models that involve the estimation of fundamental preferences and strategic effects.
~ Experience conducting analysis of pricing, competition, labor decisions, health care outcomes, auctions, marketing strategies, advertising, contract design, and game theory.
~ Strong background in statistics methodology, applications to business problems, and/or big data.
~ Strong research track record.
~ Effective verbal and written communications skills with both economists and non‑economist audiences.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
