Overview As Key Account Manager for Puglia–Basilicata, you drive aficamten adoption for obstructive HCM by building strong physician and hospital partnerships. You will translate the country strategy into targeted plans, manage territory performance, and navigate access with local stakeholders. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align Medical Affairs, Market Access and Marketing around shared objectives, shaping product launch in Italy. This role offers high impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with clear emphasis on patient access and market success.

Responsabilità
Create customer targets, sales plans and action plans aligned with country strategy and line manager guidance
Manage customer contacts through one-to-one and group meetings, virtual calls, congresses with treating physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Drive brand awareness and product adoption for aficamten via key product messages and clinical data discussions
Achieve agreed sales and volume targets for aficamten
Utilize the CRM system to support the sales process and maintain timely data
Implement Cytokinetics commercial strategy within promotional and budget constraints
Conduct territory analyses to understand customers, competitor landscape, and market trends
Develop and maintain a detailed territory map of physicians, teams, hospitals and key accounts for resource allocation
Understand the oHCM patient journey to identify barriers and opportunities in patient care
Manage hospital access with Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees and procurement offices to include aficamten in formularies
Monitor regional funding and procurement processes and address access barriers with tailored plans
Prepare and present quarterly business reviews for the territory
Develop and coordinate structured account plans with cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local regulations and Cytokinetics standards
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing and Market Access to share insights and report adverse events
Carry out other related tasks with national/international implications
Requisiti fondamentali
~5+ years in biotech/pharma sales
~ Experience in product launches within specialty care (regional/hospital market access)
~ In-depth understanding of local market access and procurement processes
~ Proven track record in sales, preferably in specialty pharma/rare diseases and hospital settings
~ Knowledge of the Italian healthcare system including hospital and office-based physician settings
~ Science-related degree in Healthcare/Life Sciences, or equivalent
~ Ability to meet industry educational and qualification requirements in Italy
~ Fluency in Italian (local language)
~ Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement
~ Diplomacy and flexibility in influencing key stakeholders
~ Excellent presentation and communication skills
~ Analytical mindset with good business acumen
~ CRM systems proficiency
~ Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
