WSP has a new opportunity for a Senior Climate Change Consultant to join our Sustainability Services team on a full-time contract basis based in Turin or Milan.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

  • Support project management, opportunity identification and pursuit, in the service areas of ESG and climate change consulting
  • Support clients in the design, implementation and reporting of climate change adaptation studies and strategies
  • Contribute to the establishment of trusted relationships with clients and business partners
  • Provide technical input in the development of effective and innovative reports and proposals

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

  • Degree in Environmental / Chemical / Mechanical / Energy / Management Engineering or other relevant study career with sustainability focus
  • Knowledge of European and international regulatory framework in the field of climate change, sustainability, EU taxonomy and sustainable finance cycle.

Experience in the following fields :

  • Climate change adaptation (e.g. : physical vulnerability and risk assessment, transition risks and opportunities)
  • Climate-related disclosures in line with relevant frameworks (e.g. : vs. DNSH, Paris Agreement, EU Taxonomy).

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Willingness to travel for short trips in Italy and abroad
  • Excellent English (both written and spoken). Knowledge and ability to work in other languages (French, Spanish, etc.) would be considered as a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office suite, data management tools
  • Driving license B

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS :

  • Telephone interview: We'll start with a telephone interview to get to know you better and discuss your experience.
  • HR / Manager Interview: You will meet with our TA team and the department manager to assess your technical and cultural skills.
  • Interview with the Business Unit Director: A meeting with the Business Unit Director to discuss your potential role and our strategic vision.
