The candidate will join the F& B Team which is operational on the entire property, from the restaurant to the pool, the large gardens, the lounge bar area and front lake. The Team is also active on the many events which are taking place on site during the whole season offering a large scope of experience on Food& Beverage.
Villa Làrio is looking for a Restaurant Manage r with years of experience in the luxury service area to join our F& B Department. Know the steps of service as outlined in the service manual.
Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned tables including ensuring courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbled.
Communicate with guests and other employees and ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service.
Delegate work to demi/commis during service
Be able to take on Head Waiter duties in his/her absence, including the training of Commis De Rangs & trainees
Monitor and observe guests' dining experience.
Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
Provide constant reports to the F& B Manager
Work Experience in the Luxury Hospitality Sector
Wine knowledge, refined tasting skills, and expertise in food and wine pairing
Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
Planning and organization of restaurant activities referring to executive Chef and F& B manager (Bar – Restaurant – Room Service)
Ability to collaborate with other departments (Kitchen - Bar - Events - Reception)
Ability to manage one's collaborators both on a professional and human level
Constant training of your staff
Preparation of weekly timetables ensuring both service optimization and employee requests
Welcoming customers at the restaurant, taking orders and supervising the performance of the service
Banquet management during events
Management of your suppliers and administrative documentation
Restaurant Department Expense Monitoring
Application of current regulations relating to prevention and safety and the HACCP plan PLACE OF WORK – PERIOD OF OFFER
