Engineering and/or Technology, Mathematics and/or Informatics Duration: 4 months Commitment: 4 days per week Location: Via Casilina 3T, Rome, Italy Mode: On-site with the option for partial remote work Description: Ecobubble is thrilled to announce an internship opportunity within our IT department for a Systems Administrator / Computer Engineer, specializing in Linux Debian, ProxMox, Networking, and TCP/IP. This role is tailored for Erasmus+ candidates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical environment, enhancing our systems' efficiency and reliability. The successful intern will work closely with our experienced IT team, contributing to the maintenance and optimization of our infrastructure. Candidates' Ideal Profile: Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program. This opportunity is available exclusively to Erasmus+ candidates. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux Debian and experience with virtualization tools such as ProxMox. Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP. Familiarity with system administration tasks and best practices. Learning and Adaptability: A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and environments. Problem-solving mindset, with a focus on finding efficient and effective solutions. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Good communication skills, with the ability to document work and share findings clearly. Daily Tasks: Assist in the management and maintenance of Linux Debian systems and ProxMox virtual environments. Support network setup and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal operation of TCP/IP protocols. Collaborate with the IT team to enhance system performance and reliability. Engage in problem-solving activities, addressing and resolving system issues promptly. Additional Information: This internship represents a unique chance for Erasmus+ participants to gain valuable hands-on experience in system administration and network management. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, applying their knowledge to real-world challenges within a supportive and innovative environment.
