Ready to advance your career in hospitality finance? As we prepare for our imminent reopening, we are seeking an  Accounting Supervisor  to join our Finance Team.

It features a collection of beautifully restored monastic structures, a 12th-century chapel, and nearly 6 hectares of ancient gardens offering breathtaking views of the city, along with 196 meticulously furnished rooms and suites – including the largest and most exclusive suite in Venice.
Annual art installations rotate throughout the property in conjunction with the Venice Biennale. Inside, the hotel seamlessly blends contemporary style with Renaissance influences, boasting six-meter-high ceilings, wide corridors, grand staircases, and intricate details such as terrazzo floors, silk-covered walls, and Murano glass chandeliers, making it one of Europe’s premier hotels for art exhibitions.

As  Accounting Supervisor , you will play a vital leadership role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all financial operations. You will oversee daily accounting functions, maintain strong internal controls, support strategic financial decision-making, and ensure compliance with all company policies and local regulations.
Monitoring revenues, expenses, and analyzing variances
 • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, income audit)
 • Ensuring compliance with the hotel’s chart of accounts and company financial standards
 • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets
 • Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and tax requirements
 • Assisting in tax return preparation and governmental filings
 • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy
 • Supporting senior management and the Director of Finance with analysis
 • Monitoring third-party billing, payments, and POS transactions
 • Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel. 
 Proven experience in hotel or luxury-hospitality finance (supervisory level)
 • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
 • Proficiency in accounting and hotel systems (Opera Cloud, Business Central/Navision)
 • Fluent in Italian. English or any additional language is an advantage.
 • Location: Venice, Italy – Based on  San Clemente Island , Venice (daily boat transfers required)
