We are looking for a DPF Calibration Engineer who will support engine development and calibration activities, with a specific focus on Diesel Particulate Filter and aftertreatment systems.

Main activities:

Prepare and verify engine instrumentation and support engine installation on test benches.
Define and execute engine and DPF calibration tests according to established methodologies.
Analyze experimental data and identify calibration improvements.
Support the development and validation of DPF soot accumulation and regeneration strategies.
Investigate DPF pressure drop, soot loading, regeneration performance and oil dilution.
Prepare technical reports and present test results to internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate activities with internal teams and external test facilities.
Support, when required, the autonomous operation of HIL, Hydraulic Rig and PUMA test systems.

Technical skills:

Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in DPF calibration .
Good knowledge of Diesel combustion, engine calibration and aftertreatment systems.
Knowledge of DPF soot accumulation/burning models, regeneration and oil dilution.
Experience with INCA, Concerto, indicating systems and MATLAB/Simulink .
Good command of written and spoken English.
