pEIT Culture Creativity is the institutional partnership dedicated to helping European cultural and creative sectors and industries (CCSI) to become more sustainable, resilient, and competitive. /p pLaunched in 2023 by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, an EU body, we provide access to funding, knowledge, and tailored support. As part of the largest European innovation network, we build lasting connections between research, industry, academia, and cultural institutions. /p ul liOur vision is to fundamentally strengthen the CCSI as a vital force for transformation—economically, socially, and environmentally. /li liOur mission is to drive responsible growth in and beyond the CCSI through innovation, education, business creation and societal transformation. /li /ul pOur first focus is on five key areas: architecture, gaming, fashion, cultural heritage, audio-visual and media. We support innovators every step of the way to scale their ideas, translate innovation into impact, and redefine what entrepreneurship means today. /p pWe are present across 30 countries, with our HQ in Cologne, and Regional Hubs in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bologna, Helsinki, Košice, and Vienna — building a powerful ecosystem that transcends silos, sectors and localization. /p pWe believe that culture and creativity are not luxuries, but constitute a critical infrastructure for resilience, renewal and economic growth. Whether you are a creative innovator, a company, a university, a research center, a cultural institution, an investor, a policymaker, a civic leader or someone on a learning journey, we invite you to join us in imaging desirable futures for Europe. /p pTheEIT launched the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) in 2014as its main tool for reducing Europe’s regional innovation disparities. It helps innovators from eligible countries and territories gainplace-based access to EIT activities, foster connections amongregional innovation actors, and providesbespoke programmesto support moderate and emerging innovator countries, as well as the EU’s Outermost Regions, in building their innovation capacity. /p pEIT RIS activities are tailored to meet the diverse innovation needs of eligible countries based on their scores on the European Innovation Scoreboard . /p pRIS plays a central role within EIT Culture Creativity, building the capacity of local actors
- including businesses, start-ups, incubators, research institutions and educational bodies
- and connects them with scaling opportunities across Europe. This approach helps close innovation gaps and unlock the full potential of all regions. /p pEIT Culture Creativity already has strong representation from RIS regions, with more than 40% of partnersbeing based there. /p pThe Cross-KIC Regional Innovation and Internationalisation (RII) Cluster unites two flagship initiatives, launched in 2018: Strategic Regional Innovations (SRI) and Global Outreach (GO), into one coherent framework. This integration tackles Europe’s dual innovation gap: disparities between leading and emerging EU regions, and Europe’s weaker position compared to global innovation hubs. /p pAligned with the EIT Strategic Innovation Agenda 2021–2027, EU Cohesion Policy, and the Global Gateway, the RII Cluster strengthens the EIT’s contribution to the European Green Deal, Digital Europe, and science diplomacy. It enhances efficiency by reducing duplication, pooling resources across EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (EIT KICs), and providing a single-entry point for regions and global partners. /p pThe Cluster’s overall goal is to: /p pBoost Europe’s innovation capacity, global competitiveness, and strategic autonomy. It aims to: Bridge regional divides through 27 Community Hubs in RIS-eligible and outermost regions, and pilot the Regional InnovationBooster in four Member States by 2028; /p pfoster cross-KIC collaboration with joint calls, shared platforms, and integrated programmes.
Strengthen EIT’s global presence through hubs in Israel and the UK, new priority markets (e.g., India), and support to the Choose Europe initiative; /p pdevelop talent and capacity viaentrepreneurship training, deep tech and leadership programmes, and gender mainstreaming; /p psupport scaling and market access by linking start-ups with finance, ecosystems, and global value chains. Advance EU policyobjectivesby acting as an operational arm for innovation policy, mainstreaming SDGs, climate resilience, and inclusiveness. /p pThe Cluster appliesthe Knowledge Triangle Integration "Plus" model, draws on lessons from 2023–2025, and uses a scalable, modular approach adaptableto diverse regions. Unlike individual EIT KIC activities, it ensures geographic inclusiveness, ecosystemengagement, and a fair innovation activities distribution across Europe. /p pbEIT Community officer (Part-Time, all genders) /b /p p1PART-TIMEPOSITIONATEITCULTURECREATIVITY (24 hours per week, 2-year contract) /p h3ABOUT THE POSITION /h3 pE
