About the Job We are looking for a Backend Engineer for our Engineering team As a Backend Engineer you will join our team, and you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of our Io T platform.

You will focus on backend services, APIs, data processing, integrations, and cloud-native architecture. The ideal candidate has strong backend engineering experience, solid software design skills, and the ability to work independently in a distributed environment. Fluency in English is essential, as the role requires regular collaboration with international stakeholders, engineering teams, product owners, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

As a Backend Engineer, you will: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services for a cloud-based Io T platform Build reliable, scalable, and secure APIs used by Web applications, mobile applications, devices, and external systems Contribute to the architecture of backend components, microservices, data flows, and integrations Work on features related to device management, telemetry ingestion, user management, notifications, reporting, firmware updates, and system integrations Collaborate with frontend engineers, Dev Ops engineers, architects, QA, and product stakeholders Ensure backend services are observable, maintainable, and ready for production use Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices Contribute to technical decisions around scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
