Beauty Brand Strategist

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Beauty Brand Strategist — someone who lives at the intersection of creativity, science, culture, and strategic thinking. This role is for an individual who not only understands the beauty and skincare landscape, but knows which conversations matter, which trends have depth, and which narratives truly move a brand forward.
As our Beauty Brand Strategist, you will shape the voice, vision, and storytelling across all consumer touchpoints. You will translate our brand’s philosophy, heritage, and scientific foundations into compelling narratives that resonate in today’s rapidly evolving beauty space.
This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical thinking: an instinct for what is culturally relevant, scientifically credible, and commercially meaningful; the ability to turn insights into content and content into community; and the skill to manage social media not simply as a posting tool but as a strategic engine for brand growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Brand Strategy & Narrative Development
Build and refine brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and storytelling pillars.
Understand beauty consumer behavior, new ingredient research, dermatological conversations, and wellness trends — and know which ones are worth amplifying.
Create long- and short-form narratives rooted in authenticity, cultural intelligence, and scientific credibility.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop and oversee a cohesive social media strategy across all channels, ensuring consistency in voice, visuals, and brand identity.
Ideate and direct content concepts that perform — educational, emotional, scientific, trend-led, and community-building.
Track platform shifts, algorithmic changes, and evolving user behavior to keep the brand relevant.
Trend Forecasting & Thought Leadership
Continuously monitor global beauty, skincare, wellness, and lifestyle trends.
Distill emerging topics into actionable strategies: what deserves attention, what aligns with the brand, and what should be ignored.
Identify white spaces and cultural moments where the brand can lead the conversation.
Creative Direction & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with founders, product developers, marketing, and creative teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Guide photoshoots, video direction, and storytelling angles.
Support product launches with strategic messaging, content frameworks, and campaign ideation.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years in brand strategy, communication strategy, or marketing strategy within beauty/cosmetics (agency or brand side).
Deep understanding of social media ecosystems (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta tools).
Strong editorial mindset: able to weave science, nature, and brand values into compelling stories.
Strategic thinker with an analytical approach to performance, insights, and content effectiveness.
Excellent communication skills, both written and visual.
A natural curiosity for ingredients, research, behavioral trends, and the cultural pulse of the beauty industry.
