Who we are looking for This is what you will do The Sales Representative – Respiratory is a key member of the Chiesi Australia (Company) AIR Business Unit. The primary purpose of this role is to drive continuous sales and growth within an expanding portfolio in a highly competitive environment. Their primary target customer group are General Practitioners located in a predetermined geography, including a metropolitan and regional area. Other Health care professionals such as Pharmacist and Nurses make up the remainder of the target group.
Achieving continuous growth & sales results will be achieved by developing long-term sustainable relationships. Attention to the Medicines Australia guidelines & code of conduct along with operation within the 'Quality use of medicines' framework is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their expense budget and resources as allocated. This role reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and is a full time permanent role.
This role requires an ambitious and pro‐active person who will maximise opportunities and ultimately support solid patient outcomes. You will be supported by an aligned cross‐functional team seeking innovative solutions to connecting with our customers. The candidate must be capable to decipher and translate clinical and scientific data related to our products. In addition, the candidate must have a broad understanding of the therapeutic landscape for which the Company's products occupy.
This role requires a strong and effective communicator, who is well versed in the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and has a proven track record working in a similar role. The candidate must be a trusted individual with high attention to detail and with a passion for compliance.
It is essential that the candidate can work collaboratively in a team environment. You will be responsible for
* To achieve agreed sales targets & market share growth whilst managing an assigned expense budget
* To achieve agreed Sales Force Effectiveness targets (Days in field and target calls per day) for the allocated territory by targeting relevant customers
* To drive long term sustainable relationships for Chiesi Australia through quality use of medicines
- To understand key clinics in high potential areas and to prioritise these accounts.
- To work closely with the State Regional Sales Manager to align on priority tasks and focus.
- Report all Adverse Events to Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours
* Live and uphold Chiesi Customer Experience/centric principles
