EIB Trainee – Information Systems Directorate – Network & Data Centres Unit – based in Luxembourg Duration 5 months (fixed) Start date 1st March / April 2026 (possible extension up to 6 months if required by University). Candidates whose Erasmus programme overlaps with the traineeship will not be considered. Objective of the traineeship Contribute to ongoing projects for the Network and Data Centre Unit with emphasis on : MPLS lines for EIB external offices; new building design wireless migration; design automation scripts. Get acquainted with new technologies (on‐prem and cloud). Update monitoring system after installation of new equipment. Academic Qualifications and Professional Skills Final year of studies or university degree in computer science or related disciplines. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of another EU language is an advantage. Advantageous Cisco CCNA studies or certification; experience or courses in cloud technologies; network vendor courses or experience; automation or scripting / programming language experience.
