Country Finance Controller Italy - Cusago (MI)

We are looking for a Country Finance Controller Italy in Cusago (MI).

The company is a leading manufacturing plant specializing in industrial equipment, recently acquired by a prominent group with its EMEA headquarters in the Netherlands.

As the Country Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the manufacturing plant in Italy. Reporting to the Finance Leader based in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the Italian operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Italian entity.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives and investment decisions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in finance management roles within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in English.
