Category Buyer

We are looking for a Category Buyers highly motivated to join our team. If you have a strong passion for food industry e experience in the meat sector , this could be the professional opportunity you've been looking for.

Responsibility:

• – Manage the entire purchasing process for the meat category, including supplier selection, contract negotiation and relationship management with existing suppliers;
• – Constantly monitor the market and identify emerging trends, cost opportunities and new sources of supply;
• – Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to optimize product quality, costs and availability;
• – Collaborate closely with the team to ensure a diversified meat assortment suited to the needs of the company's business;
• – Conduct detailed analyzes of category performance, identify strengths and areas for improvement and propose corrective actions;
• – Maintain clear and regular communication with the various company departments, including logistics, marketing and tenders, to ensure efficient management of the flow of goods and a competitive pricing strategy;
• – Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding quality and sustainability.

Requirements:

• – experience in the purchasing sector with a focus on the meat category is preferable, but we also positively evaluate those with their first experiences with a desire to learn and grow in the sector;
• – knowledge of the meat market is preferred, including product varieties, suppliers and pricing dynamics;
• – negotiation skills and excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
