A PhD position is now available at the University of Trento in the framework of the national PhD program in Robotics and Intelligent Machines (DRIM). The PhD position is funded by ERC starting grant project flEAP (PI: Dr. Giacomo Moretti). The flEAP project aims to push the boundaries of an emerging class of lightweight high‐power‐density electromechanical drives, based on dielectric polymers and fluids, and investigate their application in unconventional environments. We are looking for highly motivated and talented candidates, interested to work on a multidisciplinary project at the intersection of engineering (mechanical/electronics) and applied physics. Ideal candidates should hold a MSc degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Systems Engineering or applied physics.
