We’re looking for a Chief Engineer - EV Platform in Reggio Emilia.
The Chief Engineer for the EV Platform plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the successful development and implementation of advanced vehicle (systems) technologies. This position involves leading engineering teams, providing expert support to customers, and maximizing synergies across product platforms to ensure cutting-edge improvements and successful business outcomes.
Leadership and Resource Management: Lead and manage engineering teams, providing direction and driving authority to secure successful business outcomes.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource allocation and project execution.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their operations.
Maximize synergies across product platforms, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Oversee the design, development, and testing of EV systems and components.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful completion.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Project management as deployed skillset.
University master degree - Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or related)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
You also have experience in combining a broad technical expertise with managerial soft skills.
Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
Strong organizational, team building, problem solving, planning, decision-making & interpersonal skills.
Experience and track record in technical design and delivering technical product development projects.
Diversified experience in project management functions, preferably in the multi-disciplinary development of vehicles or vehicle subsystems.
Italian, German, French, etc.
Fluent in English (writing & speaking).
Strong communication skills, including customer presentations, report out to OH leadership and project review meetings and status reports.
