Overview In this role you will own the foundation of our enterprise AI platform, focusing on orchestration, security, and governance. You will partner with enterprise clients to ensure designs pass security reviews and audits while enabling scalable, reusable platform services. You will shape the end-to-end backend, including stateful services, authorisation, and integration adapters connecting to ERP, CRM, and data sources. This position offers impact at scale by delivering a measurable, compliant AI platform that supports multiple projects. Retribuzione / Benefits broad range of benefits diversity and cultural differences cherished Own the AI platform foundation end to end: orchestration runtime, state and persistence, retries and long-running execution Develop human-in-the-loop machinery and approval/escalation interfaces Build and maintain integration layer to enterprise sources via clean adapters Manage infrastructure and delivery: environments, CI/CD, IaC, secrets, observability Create test/evaluation harness to measure agent behaviour and surface regressions Maintain accurate inventory of agents, ownership, versions, and kill-switch mechanisms Provide guardrails as shared platform services (prompt injection defence, output validation, PII redaction) Ensure platform is reusable and reduces per-project rewrites Collaborate with client IT/security to obtain design sign-off and set engineering standards 6+ years building backend systems in production ~ Expert Python with API design experience ~ Hands-on with an agent or workflow orchestration framework (LangGraph, Temporal, LangChain or similar) ~ REST and SOAP, message queues, file-based interfaces ~ Cloud and DevOps depth: containers, IaC (Terraform or equivalent), CI/CD, secrets handling, observability ~ Delivery experience under compliance constraints: auditability, access control, data residency, change management ~ Ability to engage with client IT and security teams for design sign-off ~ Fluent English ~ client-facing collaboration ~ strong communication with security/compliance teams ~ Python backend development ~ APIs and data modeling ~
