Role Overview Thisisa strategicandhands-on role. Wearelookingforsomeonewhocan: Understandthe overallbusinessmodel ofEscapeCampus(schoolsonlineEdTech) Takeownershipof financialplanning,cashflow,anduniteconomics Leadandoptimiseourfundraisingefforts (VCs,angels,grants,publicfunds,accelerators) HelptheCEOtomakedata-drivendecisionson growth,investments,andprofitability Youwillworkcloselywiththe Founder&CEO andcoordinatewithouroperations,productandsalesteams. Key Responsibilities Designandmaintainthe financialmodel ofEscapeCampusGroup(P&L,cashflow,forecasts,scenarios). Analyseandimprove uniteconomics (customeracquisitioncosts,lifetimevalue,marginsperproduct/country,etc.). Leadandstructurethe fundraisingstrategy : Identifyandprioritiserelevant investors,fundsandgrantopportunities Supportinpreparingpitchdecks,financialslides,businessplansanddatarooms Joininvestormeetingsandhandlefinancial&businessduediligence Implementorimprovebasicfinancialprocessesandreporting : Monthly/quarterlyreporting Budgetingandbudgetvs.actuals Cashflowmanagementandrunwayplanning Adviseon corporatestructure,subsidiariesandcross-countryoperations (UK,Spain,Italy,Colombia)withourlegal/accountingpartners. SupporttheCEOin strategicdecisions (pricing,productmix,hiringplan,costoptimisation,expansion). Ensurecompliancewithbasic financialregulationsandgoodgovernance practices. Requirements Provenexperienceas CFO,FinanceDirector,HeadofFinance orsimilarina startuporscale-up (EdTech,SaaSoreducation-relatedsectorsareaplus). Strongskillsin financialmodelling,forecasting,anduniteconomics . Demonstratedexperiencein fundraising (equity,convertibleinstruments,grants,publicfunding,accelerators,etc.). Abilitytotranslatenumbersinto clearstrategicrecommendations fornon-financialstakeholders. Comfortableworkingwith distributedoperations acrossmultiplecountriesandcurrencies. Hands-on,pragmatic,abletoworkwith limitedresources inanearly-stageenvironment. Excellent English (spokenandwritten). Nice to Have Experiencein EdTech,education,ortrainingbusinesses . Experiencewith grant/publicfundapplications (innovation,digitalisation,education). Familiaritywith UKandEUstartupecosystems (investors,programs,instruments). BasedinEuropeorsimilartimezone.
