NewCold Piacenza: NewCold Piacenza is NewCold's automated cold storage facility. It will be operated to support the production and supply chain activities of leading food processors in the region. The empowered NewCold Piacenza operations team is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the state-of-the-art cold store and providing excellent logistics services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems are maintained and functioning to a high level to maximize operational efficiency (e.g., cooling systems, conveyors, cranes, etc.)
  • Respect maintenance plans according to the priority indicated by the maintenance coordinator
  • Update records of maintenance tasks completed and ensure all routine works are checked
  • Report any problems to the manager
  • Maintain a good inventory of engineering spare parts, tools, and equipment according to the weekly plans received
  • Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimize equipment downtime
  • Liaise with maintenance suppliers to identify the impact of breakdown events
  • Under breakdown conditions, advise management teams about options to resolve issues
  • Ability to manage height operations and rescue
  • Always work safely and notify any problems regarding safety
  • Follow all procedures according to legislation and the company QHSE policies and working instructions
  • Be available to support the restoration of structural site maintenance (e.g., doors retrieval, panels, ramps, hydraulics, green areas, etc.)
