Role Overview: We are seeking a Radio Frequency Front-End Filter Designer to play a central role in introducing and bringing to market advanced RF filters for 5 G communications. This position places strong emphasis on design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and yield optimization, ensuring our resonators and filters achieve high performance and manufacturability at scale.
You will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, system engineers, and production specialists to design, analyze, and optimize acoustic and RF filters, while also investigating yield challenges and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Design, synthesis, analysis, and optimization of RF front-end filters (SAW, BAW, MEMS, IPD, microstrip, cavity)
· Apply statistical yield analysis methods (SPC, DOE, regression, Pareto analysis, Six Sigma) to identify variability sources and optimize yield
· Develop and implement design-for-manufacturing strategies to ensure scalability and robustness of filter designs
· Collaborate with system-level designers to ensure seamless integration of filters with other front-end components
· Partner with production and supply chain teams to monitor yield trends, process stability, and manufacturing challenges
S. with 3+ years of relevant work experience, or
D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
· Prior experience with SAW, BAW, MEMS, IPD, microstrip, or cavity resonator/filter design
Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) or analytical methods for acoustics/electromagnetics optimization
Solid understanding of filter synthesis techniques and microwave design principles
Experience with statistical analysis methods for yield optimization
Skilled in design layout and automation tools
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
Excellent communication skills (English required)
