Offer Description
The person hired for this research position will collaborate on the core activities of the Mu Bi project, contributing to the collection, organization, and analysis of linguistic data regarding culinary microlanguage in multicultural contexts. They will participate in conducting ethnographic interviews in home kitchens, restaurants, markets, and reception centers, handling the preparation of protocols, contact management, and the collection of informed consent. They will use ASR tools for multilingual transcription, verifying and correcting the transcripts. They will assist with the sociolinguistic coding of data, the identification of loanwords, neologisms, and semantic shifts, and the population of the database that will feed the digital archive. Additionally, they will support the GIS mapping of linguistic phenomena and the scientific dissemination of the results.
